Starring the enemies since childhood staring Jules Ambroise and Josh Chen. Both always get hit up in a heated argument. Nothing matched in between them except for the hate between them. Josh a residential doctor at Thayer university, and Jules aspired to become a lawyer, yet to pass her bar exam.
Their time collided.
Josh and Jules always share the death glare to each other, every moment they got the chance. One holiday, one day for hiking, and it all takes for them to enter each other personal space, this was creating a sudden attraction between them. Annoyed Josh made a proposal with Jules, for an enemy with benefits, mutually exclusive. Josh and Jules became intimate most of the time. Jules's past knocked over her amidst this, a man from her terrible past, came back and blackmailed her.
Jules was in a dilemma whether to surrender to the blackmail or not.Brigitt's wedding slipped in between making them busy in their own duties, unless and until a small talk worth Alex about love. Realization dawned upon him. He expressed to Jules; he likes her. Jules didn't accept it. Back to the workplace scene, Jules was exiting the office, when she got a call from Ohio, from an unknown number, Jules was shocked, yet she answered the call. The news of her mother died from a car accident, shattered her completely, she seeks out Josh for sympathy, as Ava and Brigit were busy in their love lives. Seeing the way Josh had made her feel, she agrees to Josh she also likes him. Both reached the decision to date each other.
They date for a few months. During all these the blackmailer was at bay and out of sight.
Days after the blackmailer appeared asked for a favor. Jules tackled him with the help of Christian their landlord. The next day Jules relay in all the information about the blackmailing to Josh, only earn a cruel reply. They broke up.
Jules gave her bar exam. She was leaving the test center when her path was stopped by the blackmailer, who asked for the thing which he had told her to steal. Jules was speechless, and struggles to get away the hold of him, and she did, until a hard thing hit her head, and everything blanked out.
Josh was frustrated over his workplace. he was surprised the next patient was Jules Ambroise. Jules relayed all the information of what happened. Josh was beyond angry and one call to Alex and Josh settles up the problem with the blackmail.
Josh realized his mistake and apologized to Jules pleading for another chance for their relationship. Jules disagreed to it. Josh didn't let go of his stubbornness to win her heart back. And Jules forgives him. The story concluded yet again in an HEA.
MY REVIEW: 5/5 🌟
Obviously loved it. It was kind of awesome to read out a fire v/s ice romance. Josh is kind of funny and easy going as far as compared to other men in the twisted series. The spice rate here was awesome and hundred percent from my side.
